I’m David Villouta, a Chilean-born, New York City–based multidisciplinary creative director and designer working across brand, culture, entertainment, and emerging technology.

Born in Chile and based in New York, I’ve built my creative practice between cultures, disciplines, and ways of thinking.
Curiosity has always been at the center of how I work. I’m drawn to different perspectives, complex ideas, and creative challenges without an obvious answer. I love digging into something intricate or unfamiliar, finding what matters, and turning it into something clear, compelling, and memorable.
Over 15+ years, that mindset has shaped a multidisciplinary practice spanning creative direction, brand building, campaigns, experiences, motion, and visual storytelling. I move comfortably between strategy and craft, the big picture and the details, whether I’m defining a creative vision, building alongside a team, or bringing different people together around a shared idea.
Today, that curiosity continues to push me into new territory, from art and teaching to technology and experimentation, always looking for new ways to connect ideas with people.
